CLOSING.
It has been an incredible decade of supporting the freediver community in Oregon (and beyond) through instruction and retail. When The Oregon Freediving Company started 10 years ago there wasn’t a place to go see freediving gear, try on equipment, talk to knowledgeable staff, and ask the difference between this or that. Our vision and priority was always to provide the highest quality instruction and help our community be safe in the water. That priority hasn’t changed, but it is time to close the retail shop. Starting now everything in the online store is 30% off, no code necessary. Our shop will be open 12/17-23 11:00-7:00 with in person liquidation sales. After 12/23 we will not reopen the space. Online sales limited to stock on hand. Come by next week to enjoy the space, share a memory, ask a question, and buy some gear! We appreciate all of you and look forward to continuing to support the community through training, education, and travel.

The Oregon Freediving Company is for sale.

Officially formed in 2016 The Oregon Freediving Company is the only freedive/spearfishing specific shop in Oregon. Since 2016 we have maintained monthly certification courses and training opportunities while striving to build and support our freediving community. In the freediving community we have been involved with national and international competitions as sponsor, safety, coach, and athlete. In the spearfishing world we have hosted, supported, sponsored, and competed in tournaments. We keep the state spearfishing records and have supported numerous world record missions.

As owner and founder of The Oregon Freediving Company I have decided it is time for me to pass the torch and let someone else continue this incredible shop in this incredible community. Awesome group of newly trained Freedivers! This crew joined & to learn how to be safe and efficient PNW freedivers. Conditions at .beach.resort did not disappoint even with big tide changes throughout the day. Well done and congratulations! We look forward to diving with you again!

Huge congratulations to this crew from the PNW! They endured the trek out to Hawaii in the winter to work with and smashed their Intermediate Freediver certifications. Congratulations to everyone on the personal bests and thank you for making the course soooo much fun. New layers of safety, new techniques, and just an awesome stoke. Good work everyone!
