We welcome open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and constructive conversations that support our mission of educating and empowering all students for success. To maintain a safe and
positive environment for all users, we ask that you follow these engagement guidelines when interacting with our social media pages:
Respectful Communication
We encourage thoughtful discussion and the sharing of ideas. However, posts or comments containing the following will be removed:
Language or content that is abusive, obscene, or inappropriate, including profanity, hate speech, or sexually explicit material. Personal attacks or derogatory comments about students, staff, or community members. Content that violates the privacy of individuals, including personal or confidential information. Comments should relate to the original post to foster meaningful discussion. Avoid repetitive comments. Posting the same message multiple times disrupts engagement and will be removed. Our page administrators regularly review comments and messages and will do their best to respond promptly or direct inquiries to the appropriate district leader(s). Messages are checked during normal OCSD operating hours. Responses may be delayed on weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Enforcement & Accountability
Users who repeatedly violate these guidelines may be restricted or banned from the page. OCSD reserves the right to remove any content at any time that does not align with our commitment to a respectful and positive online environment. Legal Disclaimer
OCSD makes every effort to ensure that its social media platforms serve their intended purpose: to inform, engage, and support our school community. However, third-party users may post content that does not reflect the district’s values or policies. When identified, inappropriate content will be removed as promptly as possible, subject to technical limitations of the platform. We appreciate your participation in creating a welcoming and productive online space for our students, families, staff, and community. Thank you for being part of OCSD!

Today I give a massive shoutout to the legendary volunteer, Mr. Howard! Every week, he brings his infectious positive attitude and his best Dad jokes to GL as he reads to our students and plays with us at recess.
Whether he’s teaching us about dinosaurs or asking, "What do you call a fake noodle? An impasta!" he keeps our kids engaged and laughing.
We are incredibly grateful for the immense positivity you pour into our hallways, Mr. Howard. You are an absolute treasure! 🏆

The CAIS High School Robotics Team 2550 (Skynet) paid a visit to our maker space, and the energy was electric! ⚡
Skynet led our 4th graders through a hands-on STEM lesson, guiding them step-by-step as they constructed their own dancing Bugbots. Opportunities like this give our elementary students a firsthand look at where their curiosity can take them when they get to high school. 🛠️Thank you, Skynet, for your leadership, mentorship, and for making science and engineering so much fun!🤩

Our 5th graders took a giant step toward the future today! This morning, the Class of 2033 packed up and headed over to Gardiner Middle School for an official tour of their future school. 🎒✨
They got to walk the hallways, eat lunch, meet some educators, and get a sneak peek at what life is like as a middle schooler. There were definitely some nervous butterflies, but mostly a ton of excitement for the upcoming school year!
We are so proud of these students and can’t wait to cheer them on as they finish their elementary education strong over the next few weeks.🎓❤️I'm so excited for them!
