What an amazing evening we had out on the green this past Thursday supporting our mini-grant program! It was truly the perfect evening for some mini-golf with your squad. Congrats to our winning team, and proud new owners of the Cougie Cup, The Mighty Divot Ju**ie Squad. And shout-out to the individual winner, Serah Freeman!

If you missed it, but still would like to support student success through our mini-grant program, you can donate here: https://give.clackamas.edu/minigolf

"Clackamas Community College has played a foundational role is my life and career. From first attending Driver's Ed during high school, and running on the perimeter trail, to attending classes and developing foundational knowledge and skills to pursue my career path at Portland State. The quality of education, support, and community found at Clackamas Community College is something I've not found anywhere else. CCC is truly special!"

"If I wasn't connected to the CCC Foundation, I don't think I would have finished school. It took so much off my shoulders because, at that point, I had been through so much. Just being able to have those extra funds, I didn't have to worry, I could focus on my schooling, and I advanced. I had gotten more 4.0's than I've ever gotten. . . It was just so rewarding to feel like, wow, I really did this and I can celebrate this. I'm checking all the boxes of what I've been wanting to do and I wouldn't have been able to do any of that without help and support."

"Clackamas Community College has been an integral part of my life since 1974 when I took art classes as a young student. In 1986, I returned as an adult student and graduated in 1988. In 1993, I became an employee of the college as a Publications Designer – a dream come true! CCC has been an important part of my life for 52 years! It has been a good place to learn and to grow into the person I wanted to be."

In honor of Graduation week, we are proud to present to you our Caps off to Alumni series!

"Returning to CCC later in life was one of the most empowering and transformative decisions I have made. It has reminded me that it is never too late to grow, change, and pursue your goals. For decades, I did not think it was possible for me to finish my degree. Then CCC opened that door for me. . . Supporting students of all ages brings diversity and unique perspectives into the classroom, which benefits everyone’s learning experience. It allows older students, who may have thought education was out of reach, to return with purpose, confidence, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to our community and give back in ways that matter."
