My favorite part when we can just hang out outside to do our activities there! Making jellyfishes for our coral reef!

We studied the aboriginals from Australia and played some games the children would play and learned about tools they use. Spear throwing was a blast and they got better and were able to get the balls off the cones!

There is no better place to create art with nature parts then right outside in the sun in nature. We read the book “This Book Is Gray” by Lindsay Ward and created our own background for our own book. We talked about different shades and how emotions can be shown in colors. It was nice to see different color choices for their own page.

So true!!! The imagination I see in the children is so fun to watch and listen to. They don’t just invent games, but they are very creative on their choice of material!

Journaling is a fun part of the week. From finding roots outside looking at the different structure of roots, books, plants and plant parts, where do plants grow and of course putting down on paper our findings

From Medieval Rose pedal bread to Aboriginal Damper on a stick bread. What will be our next bread. Both got good ratings but the Damper on a stick was better!

Mud play fun!! Cooking …. Building…. Playing … we can never have enough pots and pans collecting rainwater!
