Such a fun and well organized show to start the season with! Our horses LOVED the nice footing and inviting environment. This was a show to remember and definitely one to comeback too.

Freeman Farms Schooling Show!

Our riders and team had a blast at our first outing of the season! Riders Lily and Olivia didn’t bring home a single ribbon that fell below 3rd place. They were also back to back in the 2’6 derby and brought home first and second! Baby horse, Sonny, competed in his first ever cross rail classes and won both! Lele was on fire in the .80’s and jumped great! While it was relatively wet we were very thankful for the afternoon sunlight on Saturday. Horses are now tucked in at home and ready for Monroe next month!

OHJA 2025 Awards Banquet 🏆

Wow! What a great night celebrating all our riders hard word and dedication throughout this 2025 show season! We appreciate all the volunteers and countless hours put into hosting this event at such a beautiful location. We collected 3 different pillows for our High Point Medal Finalist, Olivia Hall, as well as a Champion ribbon in the 2’ for Ella Hall. Lily Deveny was close to follow with not one but TWO floor length Reserve Champion ribbons in the 2’ and 2’3 section! Laura Hall picked up a 4th and two 3rd place ribbons for the .70 & .80 jumpers! We also got our basket auctioned off as well as became the winners of 2 free stalls at TNW next summer! Great food, lovely company, and some pretty cool ribbons, such a good way to wrap up a show season full of wins. Until next year!

We had so much fun with this mini photoshoot! Mr. & Mrs. Claus brought a smile to everyone’s faces and the horses were happy to stand and look pretty. Thank you to everyone who brought snacks and showed up! Also thank you to our ear-getter-upper crew!!!

Bakers Ferry Halloween Party in the books!!!

Riders and spectators all had a blast! Costume contests, egg&spoon contest, ride-a-buck, and more! Thank you Nikki and Pat for helping to put this on and Kevin for bringing some delicious food! Also a big thanks to everyone who donated snacks to our potluck! What a fun day!!! We loved seeing everyone’s costumes! Until next year…

Yes! You head it right! Selah Farms is moving locations! We will now be at Bakers Ferry Equine Facility off of Bakers Ferry Road in Oregon City! Come visit us at our new home and stop by for a lesson! We are so thrilled by this opportunity to have our own place and have hugely enjoyed our time at Legacy Creek but are ready for our own place. So exciting!!!

The Selah Crew had a successful week at Oregon Summer Classic!

Ella and Kenny took the gold in their 2’3 derby on sunday morning, Olivia and Sunny 3rd in the good hands and seat medal, Marijo rode Frosty in the 1.00 and the 10’s! Lele moved up to the .90’s with confidence, Laura and friday stayed in the .70’s and collected some year end points. Olivia and Friday took on the 2’9 hunter as well as medal finals with an unfortunate off course finish. Overall a great week for our riders and lots was learned! Onto next week!
