Calling all Oregon educators, families, students, and community members – we want to hear from you!

We are currently conducting a statewide survey to gather feedback on instructional time rulemaking, including how it is defined and measured, how unforeseen circumstances should be addressed, and considerations for implementation across our state.

As we move toward permanent rulemaking under Executive Order 26-06, your perspective is crucial in helping inform key policy and implementation decisions, and identifying the support our schools and districts need.

❓ Who can participate: Everyone! We encourage educators, school and district leaders, families, students, education partners, and community members to participate.
❓ How long does it take: The estimated completion time is 15 minutes.
❓ Deadline: The survey closes on Friday, September 11, 2026.

My son has his photo on this wall exibit and I was able to see it in person last February in Washington DC. With all the grassroots work, the numbers are trending down in Oregon but the risk is still there.
