CCC Ord Learning Center students have the opportunity to take many of their general education courses via distance in our comfortable and interactive IP classroom via telecommunication. Using this video interactive distance learning technology, students can see and speak to their instructor and other students in real time as if they were actually sitting in the campus classroom. In addition, stude
nts have access to a computer lab with 9 computer stations and two-sided color printing. Students utilize a separate testing lab (six individual study carrels) during proctored exams and for individual study. The Ord Learning Center offers GED study and instruction for students. Students test and work with our two GED instructors until their CASAS scores indicate they are ready to take the five required GED tests. The Ord Learning Center houses a large conference room that can seat up to 100 people. This large open room is equipped with two projectors, screens, surround sound, optional clip-on microphones and a wireless clicker for use during presentations. There are two additional smaller classrooms, equipped with projection equipment that each seat up to 25 comfortably. CCC Ord Learning Center 2018 Room Rental Rates:
Weekday: 1-4 hrs = $50 * 4-8 hrs = $100
Non-profit Weekday: 1-4 hrs = $35 * 4-8 hrs = $75
Weekend: 1-4 hrs = $75 * 4-8 hrs = $150
Non-profit Weekend: 1-4 hrs = $60 * 4-8 hrs = $125

The center also houses two classrooms dedicated towards the Nursing Assistant/ Medication Aide program. CCC offers 33 career and technical education programs with a focus on degree, diploma and certificate programs requiring two years or less to complete. CCC offers an academic transfer program for students who want to complete the first two years of a bachelors degree before transferring to a 4-year college or university. CCC offers community education classes in communities throughout its 25-county service area, online learning, and training and development for businesses, industries and other organizations.
