Language comes to life through the Montessori Sandpaper Letters. 🤍

In this work, children explore letter sounds while tracing each Sandpaper Letter and matching it to a small object that begins with that sound. This hands-on experience helps children connect the sound they hear, the symbol they see and feel, and the real-world object it represents.

Through repetition and movement, children are building a strong foundation for reading and writing—one sound at a time. 🌿

The Five Great Lessons 🌎

This week, our Elementary students are beginning their journey through the Five Great Lessons of Montessori Cosmic Education:

• The Formation of the Universe
• The Coming of Life
• The Coming of Humans
• The Formation of Language
• The Formation of Numbers

These foundational stories invite children to imagine, question, and wonder about how our world came to be, and their place within it.

As they listen this week, they are laying the foundation for the curiosity and exploration that will guide their lessons to come.

Montessori Birthday Circle ✨

There’s something so special about celebrating another year of life within our Montessori community. 💛

During our Birthday Circle, we gather together to honor the birthday child as they walk around the “sun,” representing each year of their life. We share memories, celebrate their growth, and give them a moment to feel truly seen and appreciated.

A beautiful Montessori tradition that reminds us to slow down, reflect, and celebrate each child exactly where they are. 🌎☀️
