π΄ββοΈβ‘ E-Bike Safety Course! β‘π΄ββοΈ
The Citrus Heights Police Department is excited to partner with the San Juan Unified School District, California E-Bikes, Super 73 and Volt Verified to host our first E-Bike Safety Course on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Mesa Verde High School.
As e-bikes continue to grow in popularity, it's more important than ever for young riders to understand the rules of the road, safe riding practices, and current e-bike regulations. This course is designed for youth ages 10-18 and will provide both classroom education and hands-on riding instruction to help riders build confidence and develop safe riding habits.
π₯ Who should attend?
β’ Youth ages 10-18 who ride or are interested in riding e-bikes
β’ Parents and guardians who want to learn alongside their children
π What you'll learn:
β’ E-bike laws and regulations
β’ Safe riding techniques
β’ Roadway awareness and traffic safety
β’ Proper helmet use and equipment checks
β’ Hands-on riding exercises
β οΈ Parent or guardian attendance is required. Parents must remain present throughout the course.
This is a great opportunity for families to learn together and help keep our community's young riders safe.
For any questions, please contract Officer Joseph Davis at [email protected].

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 8th grade Celebration! If you would still like to help, we could use drinks (Capri Suns, sodas), snacks (chips, etc) and desserts for the 8th grade dance on Thursday! Just drop them off in the office by Thursday right after school.
