The Orangeburg County Alumni Chapter of the CUIAA held its annual year-end meeting on June 15th, titled "Orange & Maroon Float for Aye," at the New Vision Center on Broughton Street.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Orangeburg County Alumni Chapter Scholarships to two incoming freshmen (Jha'Quez Tyler and Aneas Whaley). Each student received a $500 scholarship to assist with their educational journey.
Members and guests enjoyed a time of fellowship, delicious food, and the event's signature orange floats, which added a festive touch to the celebration. The combination of camaraderie, recognition of student achievement, and community support made the evening a memorable success for all in attendance.
