HSHP is proud to partner with Orangeburg County YMCA to provide students with opportunities that extend beyond the classroom. This summer, several of our current students and alumni are putting their training to work as lifeguards at the YMCA Water Park in Santee!
Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to keeping others safe are making a positive impact on our community while helping them gain valuable work experience and leadership skills.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring pursuit of equality. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they were free.
As we celebrate this important day in American history, we reflect on the sacrifices, achievements, and contributions of African Americans who have helped shape our nation. Juneteenth serves as a reminder of the power of hope, perseverance, education, and community.
At HSHP, we remain committed to empowering future leaders through knowledge, service, and understanding of the diverse histories that connect us all.
Today we celebrate freedom. We honor the past. We inspire the future.

Hours of operation:
• Monday-Friday: 12-5pm
• Saturday: 10am-5pm
• Sunday: 1-5pm

Please note – the maximum number of guests on the splash pad is 60. Please read all SCDHEC guidelines posted at the gate before you enter the park.

After June 22, we will begin taking morning daycare rentals and evening private rentals.
