We’re excited to launch a district-wide community initiative aimed at supporting families across Orangeburg County through our OCSD Food Truck!
This year, our food truck will hit the road for four (4) community events, serving nutritious meals and bringing resources directly to the neighborhoods we serve. It’s all part of our commitment to strengthening community connections and caring for the whole child.
First stop is at The Orangeburg Technology Center on November 18th from 5 PM to 7 PM!

The Orangeburg Technology Center's Culinary Arts students have been very busy this semester! From the classroom to the Food Truck and shining at the Coastal Carolina Fair. These students are preparing for the future. Hats off to our Culinary Teacher Ms. Tyra Lewis, and Teacher Assistant Mrs. Angela Glover for a job well done!

Seventeen Accounting 1 students completed the Bank of America Financial Literacy Challenge and received their Financial Literacy Certification.
The Financial Literacy challenge covered savings, investing, credit, debt, insurance, and financial planning. Students also demonstrated the skills necessary to manage personal cash flow overtime, and built a personal investing portfolio. Congratulations to these students and their teacher Laviesha Frazier!

Just in time for the holidays, The Orangeburg Technology Centers Family Life Education students received a lesson on a variety of ways to fold napkins. This lesson was taught by Mrs. Eva Summers, Family and Consumer Sciences Advisory Board memer and retired teacher from the district.
