OCA Open House was well attended Thursday evening, Aug 13th. The staff and faculty worked hard to have everything ready for the new school year. A special "Thank you so much!" Goes out to Jamison Jones & Crew of Country Made Customs LLC for constructing our two new classrooms Andy Hoffman of A C Electric LLC, Ryan & Dylan's crew of Air-Worx HVAC LLC, and Todd Jeffcoat at the County Permitting office. They were great to work with and helped us in completing two new classrooms in just under 3 weeks. The faculty, staff, and volunteers pitched in throughout where extra labor was needed; painting, cleanup, and setup. It meant some long days, scheduling flexibility, and your patience so we could delay the first day of school by one week to complete this project. OCA classes begin August 17 as we open the doors for our 30th year providing K4 - 12th grade Christian education to Orangeburg and neighboring counties. "With God, all things are possible."

We are proud to be represented in the latest graduating cohort of PEEC!

South Carolina just hit a BIG milestone — 50 Certified Environmental Educators!

Huge congratulations to our incredible 2024–2026 PEEC graduates — 8 educators who just crossed the finish line on a TWO-YEAR journey to earn the Palmetto Environmental Education Certification, SC's first and only nationally accreditation through the North American Association for Environmental Education - NAAEE.

Environmental educators are anyone who helps others understand and connect with the environment. PEEC equips them with the training and credentials to take that work to the next level.

Everyone should be receiving a letter in the mail with information on the new school year and a school supply list. In addition, the first day of school has moved to August 17th with Open House on the 13th.

Teaching young children can be a simple matter of engaging then to perform...doing chores! No not a labor pool, but help in the functioning of the family. They can take ownership of their role and it becomes gratifying for them.
