$20M student center expansion funded at SC State!

A record influx of state funding will allow South Carolina State University to expand its student center, renovate the campus’ tallest building and complete other much-needed projects to the tune of $33 million. State allocations also include money for Truth Hall renovation, new youth cabins at revitalized Camp Harry E. Daniels.

We need help spreading the word to HBCU students. We are hosting a free virtual networking event for students to learn more about starting their own businesses.

Dr. Barbara Adams, dean of the College of Business and chair of the Department of Accounting, Agribusiness and Economics was recently awarded a NIFA/USDA grant for $598,000 for phase II of the Ag Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub.

In addition to continuing activities of the Hub, a community outreach component and a campus greenhouse project with a focus on using hydroponics to develop micro farm businesses will be implemented.
