It’s not all Mardi Gras and Crawfish in Louisiana! Had a great time visiting which is a medium sized private college in New Orleans. Tulane is a campus with gorgeous oak trees, shaded lawns and a mix of old and new architecture. Most popular majors include: Business Mgt, Marketing, Social Science and Bio/Biomedical Sciences.
This year they accepted 11% of applicants! While there are networks of Frats and Sororities, you can have fun without pledging.
The proximity to The French Quarter (15 min by car) gives you a taste for New Orleans flair, live music and of course, Jazz!
Average SAT: 1410
Average ACT: 31-33
Average accepted GPA: 3.79
The one downside is the weather - the humidity isn’t the friend of the curly hair! 🤣
It was great to be on campus, see the dorms, classrooms and the students who seem super happy to be there!

Their football team is amazing, and they have what seems to be the best fans!

The student body includes students from all 50 of the United States, the District of Columbia, two U.S. territories, and 102 countries around the world.

The median class size is 20 students, and the student to teacher ratio is 18 to 1. More than 80 percent of all lectures and seminars are taught by faculty.
