Take a look at the newly rebuilt fountain at Santiago Canyon College!

The fountain improvements are part of Phase 2 of SCC’s Campus Entrance Improvements Project, which addresses path-of-travel slope deficiencies and improves accessibility throughout the heart of campus.

The project includes improvements from the main Chapman Avenue entrance and west sidewalk through Strenger Plaza, along with upgraded pathways and new hardscape and landscaping around Buildings D, E and the Lorenzo A. Ramirez Library.

These improvements are designed to create a more accessible, welcoming and connected campus for students, employees and visitors.

After months of construction, the transformation is taking shape and the project is nearing completion.

Discovering SCC: The Lorenzo A. Ramirez Library

The Library at Santiago Canyon College is one of the staple locations that all students will find themselves at on campus. Discovering SCC: Hawks Nest Basic Needs Center | Room A108

The Hawk's Nest is here to support our students’ basic needs. Services include free groceries, hygiene kits, school supplies, professional clothing, community referrals, and much more. Depending on the student’s needs, staff work one-on-one to review available resources both on and off campus to ensure students are equipped with the tools they need to continue working toward their academic goals.

Services are available to credit and noncredit students!

Disovering SCC: UMOJA & Black Scholars Network | Room B-212

The UMOJA program is a statewide community network of resources and educators, who are "committed to the personal growth and self-actualization of African American and other students."

Students here at SCC will benefit from services and programs like; advising, counseling, books, learning communities, program space, food, workshops, and much more. SCC's UMOJA program is a community gathering space for African American/Black and other students to come together to honor and celebrate Black excellence, and to discuss the real issues that affect students and the broad African American/Black community.

Santiago Canyon College is ready to kickoff Fall Semester with the return of Hawk Stop on August 17th-20th from 8:30AM to 1:30PM!

Hawk Stop is the one-stop-shop for every student to receive additional support, connect with resources, meet the community, and experience the college. Sara returned to college after a 10-year break, balancing life as the mother of four-year-old twins while pursuing a new future.

TOMORROW: Santiago Canyon College will host the Orange Chamber of Commerce’s Council and Mayoral Candidates’ Forum.

Community members are invited to hear from candidates for Orange mayor and City Council as they discuss issues affecting the city ahead of the November 3 General Election. The forum will be moderated by the Honorable Gaddi Vasquez, former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
