Sometimes the system is broken… and you just have to work around it. 🤷‍♀️

This RD had been trying to enroll in Medicare for months. 📄

Submitted online through PECOS. ❌ Rejected.
Corrected and resubmitted. ❌ Rejected again.
Called CMS. 📞
Resubmitted. ❌ Same result.

The online portal kept flagging her application for a reason that made no sense, even though her documentation was correct. 🤦‍♀️

So we did what you do when technology fails you.

🖨️ Printed the CMS-855I.
✍️ Filled it out by hand.
📂 Organized every supporting document.
📬 Mailed it to the Medicare Administrative Contractor.

Paper. Envelope. Stamp. ✉️

⏳ Four weeks later… ✅ Approved.

Sometimes getting credentialed isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing what actually works. 💡

Strong dietitians don’t fear other dietitian shining. They turn up the lights as high as they go 🙋‍♀️ here’s something nobody in this industry wants to say out loud: the RD’s clutching their secrets and patients like a winning lottery ticket? Unfortunately, they’re usually not the ones winning. Real talk. The dietitians, who are crushing it in their insurance practices are the ones cheering the loudest when you finally crack the code on getting credentialed, getting paid and gaining your independence 👑 because here’s the part the scarcity crowd conveniently forget. They’re way more patients who need us than they will ever be dietitians to serve them 👏👏👏👏👏 the pie isn’t shrinking 🙌🏼 the pie is unfortunately for good or bad f*cking enormous ☠️ we are not each other’s competition. We are each other’s proof that this is possible 🩷 so pour into the dietitian who slides into your DM’s with a question. Celebrate the other one who just landed her first contract 👑 send the referral to the dietitian, who you know is the best fit for the patient 👏 share the win 🥇 be the reason another dietitian finally believes she can do this too 🩷 A rising tide and all that. A dietitian came to us after 9 months of trying to credential with Aetna on her own.

Nine. Months. 😩

She had submitted. Followed up. Been told she was “in process.” Waited. Nothing.

Day one, our team found the problem in CAQH: a taxonomy code mismatch Aetna kept flagging. 🚨

Nobody told her. It just kept getting quietly rejected in the background.

We fixed the taxonomy. Updated CAQH. Re-attested. Resubmitted to Aetna with the corrected file. ✅

Contracted within 10 weeks.

Nine months of DIY versus 8 weeks with us. 👀
