Player spots and foursomes for the Golf Classic have sold out, but there are three ways you can support the event and OLu Athletics even if you’re not teeing up!

•Dine-in or takeout at Lazy Dog in Orange, one of our tournament sponsors, between April 27-30 and show them this post (or provide the code 01Orange) when you order. 15% of sales will go directly to OLu Athletics!

•Participate in the Silent Auction, which will open early next week at lhsoc.org/golf. Bidding closes at 3:15 pm on Monday, May 4. You do not need to be present to win!

•Join us for Happy Hour following the tournament on Monday, May 4. Happy Hour begins at 3 pm, with awards presented at 4 pm. Tickets are just $10 and include a drink along with unlimited appetizers! Head to lhsoc.org/golf to purchase.

➡️ Orange Lutheran senior Grant Schafer discovered golf the summer after his freshman year at OLu. Having raced dirt bikes since the age of four, Schafer saw golf as a calming counterbalance, a sport that has been the perfect complement to the speed and adrenaline of dirt bike racing.

🗣️ “Grant has been an incredible player to have in our program,” says OLu boys golf head coach Darren Kelso. “He truly represents our pillars of Christian character, integrity, and accountability, and because of him our program is stronger in each of these areas.”

We congratulate Coach Kristen Sherman on her new role as Assistant Flag Football Coach at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

As the founding head coach of OLu Flag Football, she led the Lancers to back-to-back Trinity League titles, a CIF Championship, and a CIF Finals appearance — building a championship culture from day one.

Thank you, Coach Sherman, for the legacy you leave at OLu. We are proud of you and excited for what’s ahead.

Alexa Smith finishes as California State Runner Up!

Along with becoming CIF-SS Masters Champion just one week ago, she becomes the first state medalist in school history in just her Freshman season! We are beyond proud of you Alexa!

With a 3-1 win today against Valencia (4-1 aggregate) boys soccer has clinched a spot in the CIF Open Division Championship!
