After working with the Golden Beads, scholars transition to the Stamp Game, which uses small, uniform wooden tiles (stamps) color-coded to represent place value:

Consisting of textured sandpaper letters mounted on smooth wooden boards (pink for consonants and blue for vowels), this foundational language material allows scholars to connect sounds to written symbols using three senses simultaneously: touch, sight, and sound.

Through guided three-period lessons, scholars trace the textured letter with two fingers in the exact direction it is written, speak the phonetic sound aloud, and visualize its form. This intentional process:

Builds Muscle Memory for Writing: Tracing the letters prepares the hand and fingers for pencil control and future handwriting long before holding a pencil.
