Standing Up to Prostate Cancer | Sept. 16 | 7:00 PM

Join the Texas Council of Alpha Chapters Committee on Wellness for an important community conversation on prostate cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection. Black men face nearly double the risk of developing prostate cancer compared to other groups, and are more likely to be diagnosed at later stages, making awareness and early screening critical.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is proud to join the other Divine Nine organizations in launching , a unified campaign in support of King100. The Divine Nine is the first organizational partner to publicly launch King100, The King Center’s historic campaign honoring the 100th birthday of Coretta Scott King in 2027 and the 100th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 2029, while investing in the future of their work.
Honor Mrs. King and Dr. King, both members of the D9, with a symbolic gift of $19.30 or more in recognition of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s founding in 1930. Together, we aim to mobilize at least 130,000 donors and raise more than $2.5 million for The King Center, demonstrating the collective power of the Divine Nine.
