Today is the International Day of Peace. Students in the 2D classes created an art installation to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The senior art project is zipping along! The last day for seniors to submit their pieces is Friday April 14th. The art department will start assembling the mandala after April Vacation.

Congratulations to the winners of the Newspapers in Education original artwork category from the Gardner News.
Grade 7-9 winners: 1st Place overall - Kartyr Lankowsi, 2nd Place overall- Chris Vezina. Grade 10-12 winners: 3rd Place overall - Rachel Latwis, Honorable Mention - Samantha Rowe.

The ArtSpace Teen Art Show will run from January 23rd until February 17th. Six students from Mahar have work in the show. The opening reception (complete with snacks) is January 27th from 5-7. Please come show your support. ArtSpace is located in Greenfield.
