🎉 60 Years of Fletcher Academy! 🎉

What an incredible day celebrating six decades of learning, memories, and community! Former staff joined us to take a walk down memory lane, browsing yearbooks, and reminiscing about their time at Fletcher. Our teachers had fun dressing up in the decade they were in kindergarten, and students and staff cooled off with a special Kona Ice treat to mark the occasion. Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration so memorable. Here’s to 60 years of Falcon pride and many more to come! ❤️💛

¡Qué día tan increíble celebrando seis décadas de aprendizaje, recuerdos y comunidad! Miembros del personal de años pasados nos acompañaron para recordar viejos tiempos, hojeando anuarios y compartiendo recuerdos de su paso por Fletcher. Nuestros maestros se divirtieron vistiéndose según la década en que estuvieron en kínder, y los estudiantes y el personal disfrutaron de un delicioso Kona Ice para celebrar este día tan especial. Cheers to 60 years! ✨ Our anniversary celebration was one for the history books. A huge thank you to our Board Members, Superintendent, district leaders, brilliant student performers and readers, and our dedicated past and present teachers for making this milestone so unforgettable. We love our school community! 💙

Un enorme agradecimiento a los miembros de la junta, al superintendente, al personal del distrito, a nuestros brillantes estudiantes (¡artistas y lectores!) y a nuestros dedicados maestros del pasado y del presente por hacer que este hito fuera inolvidable. ¡Amamos a nuestra comunidad escolar! 💙

Everyone had an incredible time at Falcon Fest! A huge thank you to all of the vendors, volunteers and PTSA parents for making this event the huge success it was! We hope you had a great time spending time with friends and family 🫶🏼

This year, dozens of Fletcher students challenged themselves through math competitions, showing perseverance, courage, and problem-solving skills every step of the way. We’re especially proud of the 17 Fletcher students who earned national honors and rankings this year, placing Fletcher alongside top schools across the country! 🎉 Whether students earned trophies, medals, certificates, or simply the experience of tackling tough problems, we celebrate every Falcon who chose to try—and there were a lot. 💙💛 Congratulations to all of our math competitors for representing Fletcher with determination and heart!

You can purchase your $20 all access wristbands that will give you unlimited carnival games and activities during Falcon Fest. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers for all that you do to support our school community! 💛 Your time, energy, and dedication make such a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

We also want to recognize and thank the many volunteers who couldn’t join us—we appreciate you just as much and are so grateful for everything you do behind the scenes. 👏

This week, @fletcherousd and the teachers showed appreciation to all of our parent volunteers with a wonderful activity and treats. Each volunteer got to craft their own tea light vase with pressed flowers, and Mrs. Cardenas shared a beautiful poem to the group. Our school can thrive because of our wonderful volunteers and we are so grateful to have each and every one of you!
