Chapman University: Residence Life and First Year Experience A Framework of Personal Ethics and Values
Students will develop a framework of consistent ethics and values that guides their daily lives.

The Office of Residence Life and First Year Experience provides on-campus housing options and off-campus housing resources to undergraduate and graduate students. We aspire to create engaging environments and meaningful experiences that facilitate the following Student Affairs learning outcomes:

A Healthy Sense of Self
Students will develop an honest understanding and appreciation of themselves a

nd an ability to make individual choices that promote their health and well-being. An Ability to Apply Critical Thought

For all facilities-related needs, please submit a work request so our Facilities Partners can address the issue. A Work Request is required because it authorizes Facilities partners to access your room and complete the necessary work.

Whether it’s a repair, maintenance issue, or something that needs attention, submit a Work Request first!

Move-in tip!

In order to keep our residences clean, before moving in, please be sure to unpack and remove all new items from their boxes at home. Disposing of boxes at home ensures that our trash cans don't overfill on Move-In Day. If you do bring boxes, break them down and flatten them, then leave them in the cardboard-only dumpster.

Every little bit helps our custodial staff keep our community clean and welcoming. Thank you!
