What a way to kick off our first Water Slide Wednesday of Summer Camp! 💦

Our campers had an amazing day splashing, sliding, laughing, and making unforgettable summer memories with friends. ☀️🌊

5th Grade Tide Pool Adventure 🐚🌊

Our 5th graders had an incredible day exploring the tide pools and experiencing the beauty of God’s creation firsthand! From discovering sea stars and hermit crabs to observing anemones and mussels in their natural habitats, students enjoyed hands-on learning outside the classroom along the beautiful coastline.

Throughout the trip, students learned about marine ecosystems, animal adaptations, environmental stewardship, and the importance of caring for God’s creation. Every discovery sparked curiosity, wonder, and appreciation for the amazing details found in nature.

One of the most special parts of the day was connecting science with faith as students reflected on Psalm 104:24 — “How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
This unforgettable experience reminded us of God’s creativity and care in every part of His world. A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, and parent volunteers who helped make this meaningful day possible!

Learning comes alive when we step outside the classroom and explore the wonders of God’s creation together.

We had an out-of-this-world carnival today for our TK–5th grade students! 🚀✨

With only 2 days of school left, we’re kicking off summer the best way possible — with popcorn, snow cones, games, laughter, and nonstop fun. The students had an amazing time, and even the teachers joined in on the fun! ☀️🍿❄️

☀️ And just like that… another school year at St. John’s Lutheran School has come to an end. 💙💛

Our last day was filled with so many emotions — joy, celebration, gratitude, and maybe a few tears too. We closed the year together in chapel, ending with one of the sweetest traditions at St. John’s: our kindergarten students singing to our 8th graders as they prepare for their next chapter. There’s something so special about watching the youngest and oldest students stand together, reminding us how quickly these years go and how deeply connected our school family is. ❤️

This year was full of learning, laughter, growth, friendships, and moments where we saw God’s faithfulness every step of the way. We are so thankful for the students, teachers, and families who make St. John’s such a loving and Christ-centered community.

To our 8th graders — we are praying for you and so proud of the young men and women you’ve become. Once a Mustang, always a Mustang. 🐴✨

We pray everyone has a safe, joyful, and restful summer filled with sunshine, adventure, and time spent with the people you love most.
