Providing nutritious meals is a core part of our mission. Through this program, all children/adults enrolled in our care receive healthy, balanced meals at no extra charge to families. We are committed to fueling our community for success! 🥦🥛

Head Start and VPI helps inquisitive young children build the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond.

*Head Start does not work on a first come/first served basis.

If you are interested in signing up your three or four year old child for Head Start or VPI, please do not wait. Here's what you need to do:
1. Fill out an application here AND turn in all required paperwork so that your file can be reviewed in completion. https://www.ocss-va.org/schools/head-start/apply-now
2. Get your child's physical asap. Children cannot start without a current physical.
3. Please call our office at 540-661-4470 with any questions.
4. Don't wait until the last minute, slots are almost gone!

Time is running out! If you live in Orange and have a three or four year old, you may want to consider signing up for Head Start and start school with us in August!
If this is something you are interested in for your child, I encourage you to fill out an online application right away before all slots are gone. We are a "needs based" program and follow the US Federal Poverty guidelines for Virginia. See here https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p
