We are honored that "Messengers of Memory," a 25-year retrospective of the Holocaust Art & Writing Contest, is the inaugural exhibition in the brand new Burra Family Community Room at the newly renovated Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University. The exhibition runs from April 17 - July 31.

Holocaust Art & Writing Contest Chapman University and The 1939 Society sponsor one of the largest art and writing contests for middle and high school students in the nation.

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Engelina Billauer.

Like many of you, educators and students who came to know Engelina by watching her testimony for the contest, she holds a very special place in our hearts. May her memory be a blessing.
