Its been a very busy summer at Circle K! Due to our van getting hit last achool year our ability to go on adventures was cut down.

However, one of our best classes we have that we do teach with pride is our kids cooking class. Each summer we take our students that will soon age out and teach them basic cooking skills.

How to handle a knife in the kitchen.

What can not be put in a microwave

How to fix a snack for 1.

How to pick fresh fruit to eat.

How to wash dishes.

Etc. Our kids love this class!

This year Chef Jo stepped up and took on the challenge.

Oreo muffins
Homemade corn dogs (baked)
Chicken stripe with Cane sauce

PLEASE SHARE!

AS OF 6:06 am on Monday, July 27, 2026, our facility is closed due to a wreck along HWY 62 that has taken out a transformer.

We have no ETA on when we will get power back. Our phones are also not working.

As soon as we have power, we will post both here and through remind 101.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience this causes!!
