It's basketball season!

Today, the boys basketball team opens their season against Arlington in the Rumble for Rosecrans at 4:30. OLu will play in the Diablo Inferno and Classic at Damien Tournaments before the schedule turns to league play in January.

OLu returns starters David Manea and Cannon Potter but will replace nine seniors on last year's squad. Head coach Daniel Dunbar is excited about what this season has in store.

"I'm excited for our group to get in there and compete against arguably one of the best leagues in the country," says Dunbar. "I think we have the makeup and the camaraderie this year to really have an impact and surprise some teams. I think we stack up well with our size and athleticism, and even though we're a little bit younger, I think we could definitely do some damage in the Trinity League."

The winning keeps coming! The girls basketball team is into the 3rd round as they beat Chaparral on Wednesday night 56-34. Ashari Cassell and Ke Beirne each had 8 points and Sheridan Kennedy had 12.

The Lancers will play at Woodbridge on Saturday night at 7 pm in the quarters.

Way to go ladies!
