It’s a wrap on our first Screen Acting Intensive!
The weekend brought together many of our regular studio members and some wonderful new faces, alongside two tremendous guest instructors: acclaimed, award-winning filmmaker Maggie Greenwald - look her up and watch her films; they’re fantastic - and exciting, award-winning filmmaker Hariya Muhammad.
I wrote each two-minute scene specifically for its actors, based on their personalities, gifts and professional goals, so the finished films can become genuinely useful promotional material.
We shot in 4K with professional sound and mostly natural light 😉, while giving everyone an authentic taste of working on set with professional directors.
The preparation, patience and professionalism were impeccable - and, as the photos show, we had an absolute blast.
I’m tremendously excited to see the finished films, and I can’t wait to do this again.
