It was truly incredible to summit Kilimanjaro with my family.

We are inspired by President Daniele C. Struppa and his daughters Ariana, a sophomore at Chapman, and Athena, son and Chapman alumnus Alex, and wife and Chapman faculty Lisa Sparks, whose drive to explore reached new heights this summer when they summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and took spirit with them. Daniele and Alex summited 23 years ago, making this climb a special reunion with the mountain. 🐾 ⛰️
