Each week, we will be posting a "Photo of the Week," taken by a student on our journalism staff. All members of the yearbook staff may submit photos they have taken each week to be voted on for Photo of the Week, which is selected by a staff vote.
The Photo of the Week for Oct. 5-10 was taken by senior Jaci Barfield. She captured this shot of junior Sutton Stanley and freshman Kyren Walker celebrating after Kyren scored his first varsity touchdown last Friday night in the game against Livingston.
Awesome shot, Jaci!

🌟 Student Shoutout 🌟
Junior Sam Winn received a student shoutout from Christina Renard, who had this to say about him:
"We were doing a major project and he stepped in as the leader of a group of 6 young men. He designed the concept, wrote the major roles, and then oversaw the practice and demonstration. This, while faced with challenges of many students being out due to illness or events, and one even sustained a significant injury, required Sam to quickly adapt and overcome. He showed exceptional natural leadership skills, communication, and his group clearly responded well to his leadership. He is an outstanding student who is always encouraging others to be their best and to stay engaged with the content."
Keep being great, Sam!
