There are 9 separate libraries that comprise the Leatherby Libraries. Each has a distinctive "portal" entrance with a customized ceiling feature. Each "portal" entrance has a computer providing digital information for the disciplines of that library. These libraries are:

Donna Ford and Fahmy Attallah, Ph.D. Library of Arts and Humanities - 2nd Floor
Doy and Dee Henley Library of Social Sciences - 2nd Floor
M. Douglas Library of Music - 3rd Floor
Leon and Olga Argyros Library of Business and Economics - 3rd Floor
Edgar and Libby Pankey Library of Education - 3rd Floor
Onnolee Elliott Library of Science and Technology - 3rd Floor
John and Donna Crean Library of Film and Television - 3rd Floor
Sala and Aron Samueli Holocaust Memorial Library - 4th Floor
Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives - 4th Floor

Each library has the physical collections of the disciplines of that library (books, periodicals, audio visual media, oversize collections.) Each library has 2 group study rooms and one Multi-media preview room.

Visit the Faculty Publications book display on the first floor of the Leatherby Libraries to explore a selection of recent publications showcasing the research, scholarship, and creative work of faculty from across the University in all disciplines. Whether you're looking for inspiration for your next project or are curious to see the accomplishments of your professors, this display offers a glimpse into the expertise that faculty members bring to the Chapman community. 📚🧑‍🏫

You can also browse the accompanying bibliography to discover even more works and see if you recognize any familiar names.

The display will be available throughout the rest of the summer. ☀️

🦅Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary with the Leatherby Libraries! ❤️🤍💙

In recognition of the national milestone, the library is offering a variety of displays, highlighting the people, stories, and events that have shaped the nation over the past 250 years. These displays feature works by influential American authors, books, and letters that examine the nation's history and culture, inviting you to take a deeper dive into America's past to reflect on the voices and experiences that continue to shape its future.

Additionally, the Short Story Dispenser features a special American Authors Collection that highlights the richness, range, and creativity of American literature. Stop by to take a story, discover an author, and enjoy a quick literary moment between classes, research, or summer plans. These stories will be available through July.
