Come visit us at the Orange High School Community Open House this Wednesday. We will be giving out free Play Doh to all our early learners.

🔸Learning Link for children ages infant - 5 years old. This is a caregiver and me program that caregivers and children attend together.

April is earth month and we have been busy learning about how to take care of our planet. So far we have planted seeds in our garden, have repurposed water bottles and cardboard into art and today we went on a field trip to SA Recycling in Santa Ana to learn about recycling. We can not thank them enough for such an awesome field trip. We watched as huge magnets picked up various metal products and dumped them in a truck. We also saw a minivan get crushed like a pancake. To top it off SA Recycling made a generous donation to help us build a mud kitchen play area on our playground. 🌎♻️ Orange Unified School District SA Recycling

We had a jam packed week celebrating Read Across America. Each day had a different dress up theme from crazy hair day to dressing up as our favorite book character. Thank you to our parents and grandparents that came in and read to our classes. Our amazing teachers planned activities to go along with each beloved story read. One of our favorites was making and eating green eggs and ham. Most of our students agreed with “Sam” that they are delicious. We wrapped up the week with everyone getting a book to take home courtesy of the Reading is Fundamental program. 📚 Orange Unified School District
