What makes an effective school board? Members with diverse backgrounds who represent and understand the students they serve, a broad range of skills to bring to the table, and a shared belief that anything is possible for EVERY child. 🧡 That's what the current OUSD board has - as well as a deep-rooted committment to making OUSD a district of excellence! 🍊

Parents and teachers unite to keep Orange Unified moving forward. The Education Scorecard report, peer reviewed by Harvard University, Stanford University, and Dartmouth College, named the Orange Unified School District a “District on the Rise.”

This national recognition highlights what our community already knows - OUSD students are accelerating, achieving, and rising together.

The Study Found
⭐️ Students gained 1.15 grade levels of academic skills per year between 2022–2025.
⭐️ OUSD ranked in the top 14% of districts nationwide for rapid academic growth.
⭐️ Reading/ELA gains outpaced state and national averages.
⭐️ Only 11 districts in California earned this distinction.

Thank you, WAVE for this re-endorsement, and for caring about future generations! Having the support of a women-led, grassroots organization means everything to me.

🧡Proud to have the endorsement of so many amazing OUSD parents! 🧡

Nisha, Adam, and I met years ago volunteering as mock trial coaches, and I’ve been impressed with their work ever since. They’re a great example of what it means to be active, committed parents in OUSD. Despite demanding schedules and busy careers, they still make time for our schools and for philanthropy in our community.

🧡 Thank you both for your support and endorsements!
