The dojo may be closed today, but we're partying it up at Villa Park's Block Party!!! Stop by Cerro Villa Middle School to support the Kids Vendor Market and other local businesses!! And you can't forget about the bounce houses, slides, DUNK TANKS.... (Sensei Carolina's time slot is 12:30pm!!!)

A small sign of how big an impact we leave on our students..

For instructors, we teach because we love it and because we know what's it's done to enrich our lives and how impactful this can be for those around us. But because we love it and because so many of us have done it for most of our lives, it's easy to forget that what we have here, with our dojos and students and community, is a very rare thing.

I love knowing this dojo is cherished by our students and that they love the art just as much as their sensei does. It means we're setting the right example and creating the right experience for them.

To whoever wrote this when Sensei wasn't looking, please know it made her day.
