Olivia R. And Maddy C. attended Florida FFA's CPC Leadership Conference this week! They learned valuable skills to bring back to our chapter to ensure we have a successful year!
On the way, we stopped at the Orlando Science Center for some fun hands on learning!

We had an exciting barn day trimming goat hooves, setting up a temporary quail pen, and watching the new barn go up!

Day 4: We watched the high schoolers recieve their State FFA Degrees and alumni members recieve their American FFA Degrees. In the next session, Jackson M. went on stage as our Milk Quality team was recognized as the 2nd place team for the state and Hunter L. was recognized as the top individual in the state. Then our delegates, Hailey and Jackson, attended the district meeting where they listened to candidate speeches and voted on our next district officers. They also casted their votes for our next state officers, using official ballot machines just like a real election.

Day 3: Our chapter was recognized as a Premier Chapter and Ella M. was recognized as a winner of the Alumni Essay. We heard inspiring words from state officers, sponsors, and Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, Wilton Simpson. We then cheered on one of our high school mentors, Madi A., as she was recognized as top four in three different proficiency award categories, winning one! To round out the day we had dinner at Disney Springs!
