March is "Arts" focused. OLJ has great visual and performing arts programs.

We have several new family members that may not know the history of the OLJ band program. Here is how I answered that question:

*The award-winning Jazz Band & Concert Band have represented the Oakleaf community by performing at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and prestigious venues in Nashville and New Orleans.
*In the 20 year history, the OLJ bands have dominated the All-County Band with the largest representation.
*All of our concerts are free and open to the public; with around 8 community performances during the school year.
*The award winning Jazz Band recently performed for the Walmart grand opening.
*March 30 we have the Alumni Jazz Concert showcasing the 20 years of jazz here at OLJ.
*We are making a positive impact in the community by having one of the largest and most exciting band programs in NE Florida; with a long waiting list of students who want to join.
