🪙 Counting coins and stacking bills was the name of the game today at Kanvas!
Our little learners practiced with play money, building confidence in counting and sorting while having fun along the way.

🍂 Celebrate the First Day of Fall with Colorful Coffee Filter Leaves! 🌈 September 22 is the official start of fall, and we’re celebrating with this bright and easy craft you can do at home!

What You Need:
✅ White coffee filters
✅ Washable markers
✅ Spray bottle with water
✅ Scissors

Steps:
1️⃣ Color your coffee filters with stripes, dots, or rainbow swirls
2️⃣ Lightly spray with water, watch the magic happen!
3️⃣ Let them dry completely
4️⃣ Fold & cut into leaf shapes
5️⃣ Hang in windows, make a garland, or sprinkle on a table

At-Home Tip:
No spray bottle? Drip water with a spoon.
No coffee filters? Try paper towels.
No markers? Use watercolor paint or food coloring.

Crunch, munch, and a whole lot of fun! 🐜✨ Our Kanvas Academy kiddos rolled up their sleeves and made Ants on a Log with celery sticks, spreads, and plenty of “ants” in a row. The best part? Some of our awesome parents stopped in to help the little chefs bring their tasty creations to life. 💚

🧶 Weekend At-Home Craft with Kanvas Academy 🎄

Keep little hands busy and creative this weekend with a Mini Yarn Wall Hanging Ornament. It is simple, colorful, and perfect for family time at home.

✨ What You’ll Need:
• Yarn in your favorite colors
• A small stick or twig
• Scissors
• String or yarn for hanging

✨ How To:
- Cut yarn pieces twice as long as you want them to hang.
- Fold each piece in half, loop it over the stick, and pull the ends through to knot.
- Keep adding yarn until the stick is full.
- Tie a hanger on top.
- Trim the bottom into your favorite shape.
