Oakleaf Village Elementary Music

Today’s the day! Remember that the doors open at 4:45 for Arts in the Village. Start with a scavenger hunt that will take you through our art show, silent auction, instrument zoo, and to see the jazz bands perform. Make sure to get some food from ’lus Island BBQ and get set to enjoy the performances in the cafeteria! We know you’ll be glad you came out to see all that OVE has to offer in the arts!

Tomorrow is Arts in the Village! The doors will open at 4:45, and the play is at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Today we highlight our OVE drama club! They’ve worked so hard all year, all leading up to this one night. Ms. Elrod and our other drama sponsors do fabulous work with them and we can’t wait to see them shine tomorrow night. Come and celebrate with us all the wonderful things that make up the arts at OVE!

Arts in the Village is 2 days away! The doors open at 4:45 on May 9, and the play is at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Today we highlight our OVE chorus. They’ve had a fun year singing here at school, the Clay Apple awards, Cocoa & Carols, a Jax Icemen game, field trips, and more. On Tuesday, they’ll sing a fun Disney medley at 6:15 and then will support drama musically for the featured Beauty and the Beast at 6:30. Come out and enjoy!

We will have an instrument petting zoo set up for students to see and even try out some band instruments. Be sure to get here when the doors open at 4:45 so you have time to check them out.

Arts in the Village is 5 days away! The doors open at 4:45 on May 9, and the play is at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Today, we give you a sneak peak of some fantastic student artwork! Our amazing art teacher, Mrs. Levinson, helps our students produce truly phenomenal work and then puts in so much extra time getting it all ready to display. Please make sure you arrive in time to check it all out. You won’t regret it!

Arts in the Village is 6 days away! The doors open at 4:45 on May 9, and the play is at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Today, we announce our food truck- the tasty Chelus_bbq ! They will be set up outside the cafeteria so get some dinner on your way in. Support a food truck from the Oakleaf community and also the arts at OVE- a portion of sales comes back to us!

Arts in the Village is 7 days away! The doors open at 4:45 on May 9, and the play is at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Today, we highlight our guest musicians- the jazz bands from OLJH and OHS. These fantastic young musicians will be providing music in the cafeteria from 5-6 pm. Get some food from the food truck (featured tomorrow) and head inside to hear some wonderful music! Arts in the Village is 8 days away! On May 9, we will hold our 14th annual Arts in the Village. The doors will open at 4:45 and there will be a student art show, instrument zoo, silent auction, scavenger hunt, food truck, bands playing, and then the drama/chorus production of Beauty and the Beast at 6:30! For the next 7 days, we will focus on a different part of Arts in the Village so you can look forward to the great evening we have planned.
