🐣 A little bit of magic happened at school today! 🐣

Our students had the incredible opportunity to witness one of our chicks begin the hatching process. They watched as the tiny chick “unzipped” its shell, working hard to make its way into the world.

There is something truly special about seeing science come to life right before your eyes. The excitement, anticipation, and wonder on our students’ faces reminded us that some of the best learning experiences can’t be found in a textbook.

We can’t wait to see the rest of our chicks hatch and continue this amazing journey with our students!

Friendly reminder that there will be no school on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Wishing all of our families a safe and meaningful holiday weekend. ❤️

🐣 Candling day!
One of the coolest parts of hatching chicks is getting a glimpse inside the egg and watching new life grow. Our students are loving this hands-on learning experience and getting to observe the incubation process up close!

🫧 BOUNCY BUBBLES = BIG LEARNING 🫧

Today’s STEM fun was full of hands-on discovery and a little bit of magic ✨

Our learners explored how to make stronger, longer-lasting bubbles by experimenting with simple ingredients like soap, water, and sugar. Then came the best part… testing them out with our expandable bubble spheres!

💡 What we learned:
• How ingredients change the strength of bubbles
• Trial and error through real experimentation
• Fine motor skills + teamwork
• Science can be messy… and FUN!

Watching their excitement as the bubbles stretched, bounced, and didn’t pop right away was everything 💛

We love celebrating the different ways our students learn—and today we’re highlighting a strategy that truly stands out!

This student has been working hard on his close reading skills, and instead of traditional note-taking, he uses drawing as a tool for understanding. 🖍️📖

As he reads, he sketches out key ideas, characters, and events. This helps him:
• Visualize what’s happening in the text
• Stay engaged while reading
• Deepen his comprehension in a way that works best for him

Learning isn’t one-size-fits-all, and this is a perfect example of meeting students where they are. By using his strengths, he’s building confidence and strong reading skills at the same time!
