The 2025 Patricia Shanks Voice Studio is now located in Huntington Beach. After several months semi-hiatus while regrouping, I'm happy to be back in full swing!

My lovely student Lydia has allowed me to post a piece of video from our most recent Zoom session. The topic had to do with letting go of the tone and breath while maintaining a buoyant position, but not holding on to the tone and breath, effectively shutting down the flow. Lydia is a singer, dancer, published songwriter, filmmaker, video editor, and all around brilliant person.
