The Volusia Community Arts is a volunteer orchestra serving Volusia County, FL. Our genre ranges from light classical, Broadway, to movie soundtracks. We also have a Jazz Ensemble which was just established fall of 2022.

What’s a wind ensemble?

Easy: it’s a gaggle of some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet, collectively trying to figure out who can hold (sort of) their breath for the longest and the prettiest. Duh 😉

More technically, it’s a small group of woodwind instruments (like flutes and clarinets) and brass instruments (like trumpets and trombones) who make music together. You should come hear one sometime… I’m told it’s a great experience (hint hint, nudge nudge… 🎶)
