MEET JACK BIRKLAND 🥳

Next up in our SAC Student Leader introductions is Jack Birkland, a sophomore from Story City, Iowa!

Jack is studying Civil Engineering, and he already put those skills to work with a civil engineering internship this summer…spending plenty of hours working under the sun. ☀️ When he’s not engineering something, you can find him singing in Choir or casually carrying the title of SAC Spikeball Champion. 🏆

Morgan JUST took home Reserve Champion Slick Steer at the Minnesota State Fair! 🐂🏆 So when she’s not busy showing champion steers, you can find her on the softball field or helping SAC bring some fun to campus.

MEET KEAGAN CASE 🎶

If there’s music playing, worship happening, or an AV system that needs running…there’s a pretty good chance Keagan is somewhere nearby.

Keagan is a junior from Carroll, Iowa, majoring in Music Education + Worship Arts! When he’s not helping make SAC magic happen, you’ll find him involved in all things music, worship, and AV.

I mean…he’s a music major. Of COURSE it’s NC/DC. He loves a good music competition and has just one question for Raider Nation: GO NWC!!! THREE-PEAT?!?!? 👀🏆🏆🏆

Meet Zeke Stansbery!

Say hello to Zeke, a junior from West Union, IA studying Nursing! When he’s not busy with classes, you’ll probably find him putting his knowledge to the test at SAC events…especially when there’s a little friendly competition involved.

Zeke’s favorite SAC events are Name That Tune and Trivia, because he loves trying to guess the answers, putting his knowledge to use, and, of course, competing! His go-to worship song is “I Thank God” by Maverick City Music and Upperroom. He loves that it’s hype, has a great message, and is definitely worth putting on repeat.

If Zeke were a dirty soda, he’d be a Diet Coke with diet vanilla, diet coconut creamer, and diet strawberry and raspberry…a delightful combination that sounds pretty delicious.

For movie night, you can’t go wrong with “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. And if it’s 1 AM and Zeke is making a Kwik Star run, his order is chocolate milk, Pringles, and garlic parm boneless chicken wings. Honestly, that sounds like a late-night feast fit for a king.

Whether he’s testing his trivia skills, jamming out to worship music, or defending the honor of the perfect late-night snack, Zeke brings plenty of energy, humor, and competitive spirit to SAC!

Still thinking about last night’s Great Raider Hangout and all the memories we made! From good food and live music to games, crafts, the giant slip n slide, and everything in between, there was so much fun packed into one weekend.

But honestly, the best part? The people. Seeing Raiders hanging out, laughing, meeting new friends, and making memories together is exactly what this weekend was all about.
