Yesterday, we kicked off the year with our incredible school-based CTE Facilitators! 💙

Our Facilitator Kickoff was all about collaboration, connection, and putting our CTE School Leadership Plan into action. These leaders play such an important role in supporting our teachers, strengthening our programs, and helping ensure CTE continues to thrive across Volusia County Schools.

We’re ready for an amazing year of building stronger programs, creating more opportunities for students, and keeping CTE on top!

Crime scene investigation in the FIRST week of school! 🔎

Mr. Long’s Criminal Justice students at Atlantic High School jumped right into hands-on learning—working in police squads to assess and secure a scene and begin evidence collection.

From On-the-Job Training (OJT) to CTE Internships, WBL connects classroom learning with meaningful workplace experiences that help students explore careers and prepare for what comes next.
