From Coach Roberts -
As many of you all know, I have accepted a new job in Georgia. Last night was officially my last meet. These last 8 years with Titans Weightlifting have been nothing short of amazing. We built something really special, and it is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment to our lifters. I feel honored and blessed for getting to work with such special people. I often hear people talk about βthis generationβ in a negative light, but they certainly never met our lifters. You all showed class, respect, and perseverance on a daily basis and learned to embrace failure and overcome it. I also want to thank my friends at FPC, Spruce Creek, NSB, Deland, and others. I will miss our interactions at meets, and I loved competing against you all and making our district one of the best in the state. Coach Nelson and Coach Hagstrom are some of the finest coaches in the state and have always gone above and beyond to be supportive, and I am forever appreciative of your guidance and friendship.
Last but not least, to the man, Dan Fox. He deserves far more credit than he gets for our success over the last 8 years. While his music playlist has never been as good as mine, a fact we can all agree on, his commitment to our athletes and program was second to none. There is no Titan Weightlifting without him. Thank you all again for memories that will last a lifetime. Last Rep, Best Rep!
