After learning about photosynthesis, Mr. Jaubert’s 7th grade Science class planted seeds to put their learning into action! Now, they’ll get to observe firsthand what happens as their seeds grow and see the science behind plant life come to life. 🌱🔬

🏝️ Shipwrecked! ☀️

Ms. Jolene’s 2nd grade science classes took a virtual field trip with quite the adventure! Our little scientists found themselves shipwrecked on a deserted island with only their lunchboxes to help them survive. 😄

Their mission? Create sun-protective hats using paper bags, paper plates, aluminum foil, and napkins! 🧢 Each item had a special purpose beyond its everyday use, putting our students’ creativity and problem-solving skills to the test.

Thankfully, everyone made it back to school safely! 💜💛

What a fun way to learn, think outside the box, and put science into action!

🍗 TODAY IS THE DAY! 🍗

Our first Mama’s Fried Chicken Night of the school year is happening TODAY! 🎉

Stop by Mama’s Fried Chicken on Landry Street from 3–8 p.m., and Mama’s will donate 15% of their sales back to OCS to benefit our Religion Department! 🙏💜💛

Our Religion Department benefits every child on our campus, so this is something we can definitely get behind and support!

And don’t forget about our friendly class competition! 👀🏆

Our Ministry Team spent some time spreading faith around campus by placing Faith Rocks throughout our school! 🪨✝️

Afterward, they spent some fun time with our Pre-K students, enjoying fellowship and playtime on the playground! 💜💛
