The mission of JS Clark Leadership Academy (JSCLA) is to provide an exceptional education to all students

Today we celebrate Juneteenth — Freedom Day.
On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas finally heard the news: they were free. The Emancipation Proclamation had been signed two and a half years earlier, but freedom came late to Texas.
Juneteenth honors Black resilience, faith, and the unbreakable pursuit of liberty. It is a day to remember how far we have come and the work that remains.
At JS Clark Leadership Academy we carry that legacy forward. Education is freedom. Leadership is power. Every Bulldog we develop is proof that our ancestors’ fight continues through purpose, excellence, and service.
Freedom is not a date. It is a daily commitment.
