I recently bid farewell to five children as they transitioned to elementary school, leaving a substantial void. Initially, I had decided not to accept additional children due to my new solo work arrangement, but I am now faced with a dilemma. Currently, I care for a 4-year-old girl three days a week, who seems slightly too mature to engage in play and have fun with the younger children. I am wondering if anyone knows of a child who would benefit from socialization before entering elementary school and would be interested in attending a couple of days a week. She interacts well with both girls and boys and is a kind-hearted child. Please let me know if you are interested. DM, call, or text

Ms. Honey’s Hive
At Ms. Honey’s Hive our goal is to teach each child the necessary social and emotional skills they will need throughout their life through play, fun, and games!
Most importantly, we monitor milestones and try our best to help each child meet them.

Another day of mixed emotions in the hive! 🥹 My Wiltz twins, Lane and Jake along with their big sister Clara are all set to start school tomorrow and begin an exciting new journey! I've been working with these boys since day one, and it's thrilling to see how they've progressed. They've made huge strides physically, emotionally, and socially - they're more than ready to fly solo! I know they're super excited for big boy school! It's incredible how quickly they've grown. It's time to say “see ya later” until next summer. Thanks to their wonderful parents for trusting me with the care of Clara, Lane, and Jake - I'll definitely miss them!

I feel profoundly grateful to have the most incredible parents, and being loved and appreciated is truly a gift. God's divine plan unfolds when we ask, and I am living proof. My heartfelt prayer for amazing parents with children who would cherish my love and guidance was answered, and I am humbled. His infinite possibilities bless my life. The Wiltz family generously gifted me a beautiful bouquet, while the Stelly family showered me with Tyler products and a gift card to indulge in self-care. Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness.

To love and bee loved…🐝
The most bittersweet days are the days I have to pack up my big kids things for them to move on from the hive! We said “see ya later” to our “Big Colton” and his sweet as honey🍯 mom yesterday afternoon. She sent the hive amazing cupcakes and a birthday cake for me with this touching card and letter! It is a great feeling being appreciated! See ya next summer Colton!!!! Thank you Shondell!!! 🥰

As we celebrate the last day of one of our worker bees at the Hive, we're filled with a sense of wonder and awe! He's spreading his wings and embarking on a new adventure - pre-school! Saige and I are honored to have played a part in his journey, and we can't wait to see the amazing things he'll achieve! The thoughtful gifts his mom gave us, including wine, nail gift cards, and the stunning "Many Marys" acrylic piece by Emily S Pitre Art, serve as a poignant reminder of the transformative power of love, care, and dedication! The heartfelt letters she wrote, which brought tears to our eyes, beautifully captures the essence of our mission here at the Hive - to empower our children to grow, learn, and thrive, and to celebrate their every achievement along the way! Saige also got her own gifts as well! It feels great to be appreciated!

Yesterday we celebrated Cam turning one! I have had her since the beginning…she is the last baby the hive will have! So bittersweet! It has been such a joy this past year watching her grow! We all love Cam so much!!!
Due to bad weather and flash flooding we will be following St Landry parish school board and will close Wednesday and Thursday. We can’t be open without power so please stay safe and stay off the roads if possible!

Our little worker bees are on their lunch break! Time with our 3-4 year olds is getting short! They will be off to school before we know it! Time is relentless! The hardest part of being the queens of the hive is letting our big bees fly on to the big schools….so bittersweet!
