A special thank you to all the dads, moms, grandparents, uncles, and family members who joined us today. We appreciate everyone who stepped in to make our children feel loved and celebrated. Thank you for making this Father’s Day event so special!

Good morning, parents. Due to concerns about possible flooding, we initially believed we may not be able to open this morning. Conditions have improved a little, and Children of Grace Daycare & Preschool will open on a delayed schedule at 9:30 AM today.

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please travel safely, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Due to expected flood warnings on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Children of Grace Daycare & Preschool will be closed for the day due to expected weather conditions and staff availability.

The safety of our families and staff, especially those who live in low-lying areas, is our top priority. In addition, state regulations require us to maintain a specific child-to-staff ratio. If adequate staffing is unavailable, we are unable to safely operate.

If weather conditions improve and we have sufficient staff available, I will promptly notify everyone of any possible reopening plans.

🐸🔍 Nature Explorers 🐞🌿

Today our little scientists made some exciting discoveries while exploring outdoors! They carefully observed a tiny frog and other backyard creatures in our bug jars.

Hands-on nature experiences help children:
🧠Ask questions and think like young scientist
🐸 Learn about frogs, insects, and their habitats
🔍 Develop observation and investigation skills
🌎And most importantly they gain an appreciation for God’s amazing creation
🤗

Before the day ends and Autism Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to celebrate our amazing autism kids—Always Unique, Totally Intelligent, and deeply loved. 🧩

We’re proud to create a space where every child is accepted, supported, and celebrated just as they are, not just for this month but every day.
