🔔STAFF HIGHLIGHT 🔔

LaTasha Benson, born in Texas and raised in a small town of Lawtell, Louisiana. She grew up in an non traditional home with her mother & grandmother along with one sibling. LaTasha is a mother of 3 children.

In 1996, she graduated from NorthWest High School. LaTasha has an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice and Bachelor of Education Studies while she’s presently working on Masters of Education Psychology. She attended University of Southwest Louisiana, Louisiana State University at Eunice and Ashford University of Clinton, IA.

LaTasha works closely with the Dept. Of Juvenile Justice in Acadia, Evangeline, Lafayette & St. Landry Parish. Her accomplishments and various years of experience in Outreach Community Coordination, Mental Health Professional, Mental Health Specialist, Life Mentoring Coach, other experiences include working on Crisis Intervention Calls Along Recreation Therapy where she enjoys the mental therapy of art & dance.

Her passion involves working closely with our youth & elderly of the community. At the age of 19 she was diagnosed with Lupus SLE but still leads a productive life. Because of her health and having to deal with normal day life “We are One Community Outreach Ctr was created by her as nonprofit community organization. She and her son Joseph Romar founded and operates non profits in Opelousas, La. TashLeeLee’s Learning Ctr an after school tutoring program. LOVE (Learning, Obstacles, Valuable, Education) home program which focuses on job readiness opportunities and day to day life skills began. She started “The Granny’s Girl” Project which gives formal dresses to young ladies for prom.

LaTasha is a member of the Divine9, Sigma Gamma RHO Sorority Inc. A member of St Landry/Evangeline sexual assault board. LaTasha is an all around versatile individual that tries to live by her motto “What God wants us to do for his people with love”.

LaTasha has been with Kingdom Expression LLC for 3 years

This truly made my blue day bright!!
I started with my new homeschool students to try it out...and my God it’s going great, at one point I wanted to give up on this because of sour apples but this motivates me more to build better. I’m NO quitter. I’ve seen too many close people say I stick with something and they didn’t but Tash will accomplish every bit of what she wants out of all her new students with my new school 💋💋☝🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
